Follow up appointment for both boys with Bashir (pulmon). Coleman has lost 12 pounds in two weeks and his lungs are functioning at only 60%. Spen has lost two pounds and his lungs are functioning at 90%. Coleman does show as asthmatic (last visit he did not) and Spencer does not (last visit he did).

We agreed to take both boys off of Prevacid and Prilosec because it obviously has not helped them and actually tends to make them sick. Coleman is weaker and beginning to have trouble getting around. Bashir agrees to send his records to Dr. Joel Schmidt (pulm – MCV) where we have an appointment on 2/19.

Although Schmidt is booked to his gills, he has read notes and talked with me once on the phone. We took blood cultures from Spen to do a specific rast for mold and a general IG work up.
