She also taught him more leg exercises with the band and ball. She'll be coming twice a week. I was really proud of how well Coleman did with meeting her and being cooperative. He is so fueled by the praise he gets for accomplishing something new.
We also took another look inside both boys with Zyto today. Coleman has made strong progress but we still have some good work to do. I am feeling confident in a full physical recovery - all the signs are there and his strength is returning at a good rate. Oh the joy of having a young body that can recover quickly when given the right fuel. We're adding to and refining our approach this week and will be looking for some marked results.
Spen will add some more elements as well - it is interesting how many things come up identical in them. I think he'll make a full recovery in a bit more time. I'm afraid to put a guess on it, I have discovered there is no guessing in an illness like this. It seems there are surprises every day, it's just that now they're starting to be good surprises. Spen added one more subject to his schoolwork today, soon he'll be back in full swing, said my Mom with her fingers crossed.
This morning I stated the day in the beat up chair and read about King Hezekiah who seemed to make all the right decisions in his reign and prospered because of it. He then was hit with a catastrophic illness. He begged God for healing and God heard him and gave him a sign of His healing. The interesting part of the story to me is that the sign from God made him arrogant instead of grateful. As you might guess, things went downhill for him after that. Funny I read that today because isn't it so typical of us to start getting just a little sure of ourselves and for me, even just a bit presumptuous about it all. Reading that is just a reminder that every good gift comes from above.
I just asked Coleman what we were thankful for today and he said, "walking on flat feet"! There ya go!
