Walking on Sunshine!

It's Saturday and the norm has become for Jeff to give me a hall pass and I enjoy getting out of the house and running errands and today even running on a treadmill, which was right on time because all this wonderful home cooked food has found its way to my "sedentary side." While we're on the subject, thanks to Kathy for sending an amazing Easter meal - the fellas around here devoured the ham and the sticky toffee pudding took me right back to Scotland. I ate my share and everyone on the current team's share. Here's a shout out to our friends in Dornoch wrapping up the HBC club. Thanks Anna for the shout out to us, and you guys travel home safely...good thing Harrison established a running club!

So yesterday Coleman was taking two steps at a time and when I returned home today, he sat on the side of his bed, stood up with no help and walked right across the room...no walker! I just can't believe the progress he is making. He said the pain in his feet is less today. We're using good doses of B6 and niacin for these final steps.

Today Coleman is talking about where he wants to go when he's well - this is a first and we're so happy to hear it.

We all agree that Resurrection Sunday marks a great week for Coleman to rise out of that bed. You're right Cheryl L. - it was a Good Friday. - one more reason to be grateful for that day.

Thank you all again and again for praying for us - even if it wasn't your habit before, we are so honored you enlisted on our behalf. Obliged.

  1. Mel, I haven't been on the site for a few days and I can't tell you how thrilled I am for Coleman !! He is an incredibly courageous child and I know your family must be so excited at his incredible progress. Keep it up Coleman , and Spencer, too. Happy Easter !! Love and good thoughts, Cecelia
