I never thought that Coleman's recovery would be in such separate pieces...then again, I never thought we would wind up here in our lives.
There are days when he is really whipped and I can tell his body is hard at work attempting the healing process. Then there are days where he jumps forever on the trampoline and seems ready to try new things. Those days are so different and they are the luck of the draw. There are the "physical" days and the "thinking" days and we look for milestones in each. They are truly separate and we have to work with them separately.
Today was a physical day so he's wiped out in his bed with stinging quads. It does amaze me how quickly the muscle tone is coming back in his legs, one of the good parts about facing this illness young.
Barb - thank you for one perfect meal - Jeff and Spen were especially happy as they live for steak. We appreciate your carving out time in your day and your freezer for us!
It was a good day here. One more day marked off on the calendar of recovery.
